The Head To Head rule is the most common first tie‐breaker when there is a tie in the standings. Exposure offers a number of ways to use Head-To-Head comparisions and they are explained below.
Note: If Head To Head can't be concluded the next tie breaker is used.
Head To Head (Two Only)
This is the default tie breaker and is only applied when there are two participants in the tie. If both participants didn't play each other then the next tie breaker rule is applied.
Head To Head (Two or More)
This tie breaker is applied when there are two or more participants in a tie, even if some participants didn't play each other. Deduction is used to determine if head to head can be applied to the set of participants in the tie.
Head To Head (Two or More, All Play)
This tie breaker is applied when there are two or more participants in a tie, and all played at least one game against each other. Deduction is used to determine if head to head can be applied to the set of participants in the tie.
Head To Head (Two or More, All Play, Winning Percentage)
This tie breaker is applied when there are two or more participants in a tie, and all played at least one game against each other, but with winning percentage. Winning Pecentage is used to determine if head to head can be applied to the set of participants in the tie by using only the games played between each other.
Note: If Repeat is selected then the final two teams are determined with head to head either from the top down or bottom up.
