Exposure offers the ability to validate a minimum and/or maximum rest time beween matchups. The minimum is usually for preventing back to back games while the maximum isn't used as much but to prevent matchups from having to rest for too long. This validation does not highlight in the grid but instead hit the Valiation button on your grid to find them.
This can be set on the schedule grid settings before your grid is created or clicking the gear icon at the bottom of your grid.
Minimum Rest Between Games
To make sure participants don't play back to back games a minimum rest between games should be used. This value should be equal to or more of the time increment on the location (court, field, rink, mat). Click the Validate button to find minimum rest between game errors.
A good way to verify back to backs when dragging is to review the white games being highlighted which are in connection with the game being dragged. You can see this in the screenshot below.
Auto schedule will use this value to make sure the next game on participants will be equal to or more of the set value.
Maximum Rest Between Games
To make sure participants rest for too long a maximum rest between games should be used. This value should be equal to or more of the time increment on the location (court, field, rink, mat) and more than the minimum rest between games by at least the time increment. Click the Validate button to find minimum rest between game errors.
Auto schedule will use this value to make sure the next game on participants will be equal to or less of the set value.
