The following steps are the fastest way to get your event up and running. You can also watch the Getting Started Video here if you prefer. Remember if steps aren't relevant you may skip them, like adding scheduling requests or pools, although for leagues you still need at least one pool.
1. Create Exposure Director Account
2. Add Event
- Click Events in side menu
- Click + Event button (Add organization, season if requested)
- Click Save button
3. Add Divisions
Note: If a division template doesn't fit your needs then you should continue below to build out division manually.
- Click Events in side menu
- Click Event Name
- Click Divisions in side menu
- Click + Division button
- Click Save or plus (+) button to save and add another
4. Add Or Import Teams - Article
5. Add Team Restrictions (Scheduling Requests)
- Click Events in side menu
- Click Event Name
- Click Teams in side menu
- Click Restrictions in side menu
- Complete Restrictions
6. Add Standings (Pools)
Note: For leagues, you still need at least one pool to schedule matchups.
- Click Events in side menu
- Click Event Name
- Click Divisions in side menu
- Click Division Name
- Click Standings in side menu
- Complete Standings and click Save button
7. Add Division Brackets
- Click Events in side menu
- Click Event Name
- Click Divisions in side menu
- Click Division Name
- Click Brackets in side menu
- Click + Bracket button
- Complete Bracket and click Save button
8. Add Venues
Note: If adding a venue after grid creation cells will be grey and need to be double clicked to enable. You can add extra venues to an existing schedule grid from VENUES in the SUBMENU under the EVENT itself.
- Click Venues in side menu
- Click + Venue button
- Click Save button (New venues get default court, field or rink added automatically)
9. Add Courts, Fields, Rinks, Mats or Courses
Note: If adding a venue location after grid creation cells will be grey and need to be double clicked to enable.
- Click Venues in side menu
- Click Venue Name
- Click Courts, Fields, Rinks, Mats or Courses in side menu
- Click + Court, Field, Rink, Mat or Course button
- Click Save or plus (+) button to save and add another
10. Create Schedule Grid
- Click Events in side menu
- Click Event Name
- Click Schedule in side menu
- Complete Event Venues, Dates and Settings for Schedule
11. Bracket Games (Under Unscheduled Games created from step #7)
12. Add Pool Games
- Click Events in side menu
- Click Event Name
- Click Schedule in side menu
- Click + Game button at the bottom of Schedule Grid
13. Schedule Games
Note: If cells are grey, double click to enable.
- Drag and Drop Games From Unschedule Games To Schedule Grid
- Click Auto Schedule Button (Click Save Schedule button if asked to do so)
After scheduling or during scheduling check out the Summary page in the side menu
14. Publish Event - Article (Schedule, Pools and Brackets, Credits)
15. Update Scores - Article
16. Update Games - Article
17. Delete Games - Article
